Videos and Podcasts Class Announcements iCan We're getting pumped up for the EOG's and we'd love for your support in our school wide slogan "iCan". Students have been making iCan Goals for math and reading to focus on for a two week span. Once they achieve their goal they make an "iCan Application". Please talk to your students about their goals, why they chose them, and how you can support them in reaching their goal. Using lots of "iCan" statements during homework and reviewing at home will be very beneficial to your student's academic growth. (Ex. iCan multiply numbers by 7, iCan use my strategies to comprehend text)
During this time of year students can get stressed about content getting more difficult and this is just another way to help them through their first EOG process. Thanks for all you've done and continue to do.. the kids are SO lucky to have you on their team! If you'd like to learn more about our iCan slogan and iCan Goals please e-mail or call me at Sylvan. iPod TouchesI am sure most of you have already heard, but our class has gotten 10 iPod Touches!!!! We are super excited to have new technology in our room and we're very anxious to learn how to PodCast, make slide shows, record our fluency, e-mail, and MUCH MUCH more! We'll be sharing projects soon so look forward to it!
